Recycling in South Gloucestershire SecondarySchools

South Gloucestershire secondary schools are entitled to free recycling collections from SITA (South Gloucestershire).

Most schools have cardboard SORT IT!* boxes or bags in offices and other areas used by staff. Some have SORT IT!* boxes accessible to students, or trays in tutor rooms and classrooms from which paper can be decanted into the large boxes. SORT IT!* paper recycling box
Eurobin

The paper is emptied from the SORT IT!* boxes into a large eurobin, from which is it collected regularly by a lorry that can tip the bin.

To request a paper collection ring SITA (South Gloucestershire) on 01454 333306.

It is also possible to set up a collection for aluminium cans.

To set up a recycling system in your school please contact Stephanie Dunn
on 01454 333306 or stephanie.dunn@sita.co.uk .
